The sunshine is really making an appearance this week in London! I hope you have managed to make the most of it, as we approach the end of the summer season.
Today, I'll be providing tips on how to do pain-free hairstyles on your child. There doesn't have to be any crying involved in the hairstyling process.
Also, just a gentle reminder to book your tickets to our Harvest Haircare Masterclass if you haven't yet!
This is a key part of preparing your child's hair. The fewer tangles there are, the softer the texture of the hair is, which, in turn, means less tugging on your child's hair. Our honey rain juice is the perfect assistant for this. Just a couple sprays and you're on your way!
Cornrows require allot of tight manipulation when doing the style. With children's hair, you want to be extra gentle. So, avoiding tight hairstyles like cornrows is a step in the right direction. There are several other hairstyles that can last long periods of time and grow your child's hair. Use the SSS method - Soft Scalp Styling It is a style that allows the scalp to produce and care for the hair, stress-free. Tight styles limit HAIR GROWTH and also cause hair loss on little heads. Hairstyles such as banding are simple and effective, without being too harsh on the scalp.
Detangle bottom upwards,
Our honey-rain juice makes it easier for you to finger detangle. But in the case where you want to use a comb or brush to create a particular style, ensure you detangle from the bottom up. Combing from the root downwards can cause extreme tugging and lead to hair loss. This is what we want to prevent at all costs!
