How can I update my look for the summer?

How can I update my look for the summer?

As we step out of spring and leap into summer, you may be considering a new look to kick start your summer of hair!

One of the easiest and quickest ways to update or refresh your hair this season is to try out a new colour!

Please remember that if you do decide to colour your natural strands, consult a professional to eliminate the risk of hair damage.

Blonde ambition:

Beware of reaching for the DIY bleach, although blondes are said to have more fun, this is highly unlikely if you end up permanently damaging your hair. If you decide the only way is UP!, as in lighter hair, then do find out if your professional colourist can lighten your hair in stages, rather than all in one go, to limit damage. Also this process will allow you to treat and condition your hair in between the lightening process, bleached hair needs extreme TLC!

Fake it honey!

Another way to colour your hair without damage or making it permanent, is the use of fun hair chalks that you simply brush into the hair, and wash out when tired of the look! These work on all hair types and are inexpensive and extremely fun, why not chalk in that Ombre look you have always loved!

Clip in Colour:

Lastly if you really want to add colour in less than 30 minutes, then invest in coloured extension clip-ins. These can be used to add length to your hair too. Clip-in some colour to add high-lights to your regular look and change your style in seconds.

Whatever you do to your hair this season, just remember to keep it healthy with regular conditioning and moisture on a daily basis. Your hair will only look its best if you invest time and TLC into it!
