Hair Accessories for Your Kids

First of all, we would like to offer a huge apology for the lack of low stock we have and any inconvenience it may be causing to your hair. We know how much you need our Honey Rain Juice, and we will have stocked filled up very soon. And when we do, you will be the first to know about it, of course.

Also, just another heads up that we will be having our Back to School event on Sunday 20th October 2019. We will share tickets with you once they are released.

Today's blog is on Hair Accessories for your kids.

1. Ringlets - These can be added to braids to give that extra bit of design to the hairstyle. You can get these in a range of colours, with the most popular being gold or silver.

snagless hairbands

2. Snagless Hairbands - When styling your child's hair, some hairbands can snag at their hair. These snagless hairbands are designed to prevent this from happening. Their thickness and elastication is particularly useful for afro hair. Therefore, you won’t have to worry about hairbands snapping with this as it stretches fairly far.

3. Braided Headband - You can either get this online or if you have some spare unused hair extensions make it yourself. This adds to the natural vibe and is an easier way of slipping on a headband.

4. Hair Bonnet - This is essential for when your kids sleep. A satin or silk bonnet or headscarf will help maintain moisture in your child's hair, as opposed to sleeping directly on a cotton pillowcase. It also helps to keep your child's hairstyle neat.

5. Hair beads – These can be added to the end of braids. But be careful which location your child wears it to. If they wear it to school and they are playing it could be flying around and cause a hazard. However, if it's in an environment they’re unlikely to be doing that, it can be a good choice.

Here's a cute clip of a popular Instagram child styling her hair:
